Paper + Dirt is a bookshop and community space in Pittsburgh, specializing in magazines, hard-to-find periodicals and stationery. 

Our proximity to Frick Park, the “Dirt” side of things, has us organizing trail races, hosting trail run film festivals and other events getting people outdoors and on the trails.

The bookshop is located at 7105 Reynolds St just beyond Frick Park - Pittsburgh’s largest municipal park.

We’re hosting the Trail Running Film Festival! The 2024 Global Tour is making a stop in Pittsburgh, PA on Friday, July, 19th at 3 Rivers Outdoor Co. The mission of the Trail Running Film Festival is to celebrate running as a universal practice to explore our collective and individual potential and pursue our wildest dreams. They accomplish this by documenting the culture of trail running, supporting filmmakers and creatives, and hosting events that bring our community together. They are committed to promoting inclusivity, adventure, wilderness, art, and diversity across the trail and ultra community. The Trail Running Film Festival is a project of Outdoor Arts & Recreation a Washington State 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Visit their website to learn more.
